Rule performance

The rule performance dashboard helps merchandisers evaluate the impact of slotting rules on add-to-carts (ATC). Merchandisers can compare the actual performance of slotted products versus the expected performance if the AI had chosen products for ranking. These analytics are available for slotted positions in both Search and Browse.

How to use rule performance

To identify efficiency gaps and opportunities in existing searchandising rules, navigate to the Analytics section, then select the Rule Performance tab.

This will display the Rule Performance listing page, select either the Search slotting trends tab or Browse slotting trends tab.

Hovering over the red down arrow icon will display a quick summary of the under-performing slotting rule and an explanation on the calculation.

Hovering over the green up arrow icon will display a quick summary of the over-performing slotting rule and an explanation on the calculation.

To view further detailed information on the rule listing, click the right arrow icon towards the right to view the Listing Position Analytics. This page provides insight into how the item slotted in the position is performing against expected performance.

To preview the slotting rule, click the play icon to Interact or modify the slotting rule by clicking on the pencil icon towards the right of the Slotted Production Information tile.

Hovering over the data points in the List Position History graph will display more information.
