Learn about Collections
You can think of Collections pages as a customizable Browse page. An intentionally curated list of items are brought together in a combination of three ways, using generative AI technology, with a SKU list or using attribute conditions. The SKU list option is great to quickly put together a static list of items that are unrelated to each other. If the items can be related by an attribute, building a collection using condition filters can create a dynamic collection, as items fit these conditions they will automatically become part of the collection and vice versa. Items can also be brought together using generative AI technology. Lastly, items can be further merchandised upon with merchandising rules should the product ranking need to be altered.
AI generated collections
AI generated collections is a new way to create collections leveraging AI to automatically determine which products should be pulled into a Collection based on user entered prompts. With AI generated collections, merchandisers can describe the types of product, occasions, or styles and leverage the power of generative AI to bring relevant items into a Collection. This will increase the speed at which collections can be created, either to provide a broader SEO coverage or to create specialized or themed landing pages. AI Generated collections can also be used to compliment CSV Upload and/or Condition logic.
CSV upload
CSV upload as the name suggests will load a SKU list, you can upload up to 10,000 items into a single collection.
Condition logic
Collections condition logic is one of the methods which adds items to a collection based on attributes or categories. This method of adding items to a collection is especially useful for adding large quantities of items to a collection as logic statements are quickly applied to the entire catalog to filter results and are updated dynamically as items meet the conditions. AND and OR conditions can be used with IS and IS NOT on attributes and categories to create unique item collections.
