Conversions

The Conversion section of Constructor analytics allows you to analyze success events and conversions to optimize for these metrics.

How to use conversions analytics

Conversion events are split into two groups: success events and purchases. You can toggle between these two conversion events on the right side of the page. Success Events are the user events identified as conversions during integration (generally, add-to-cart) while purchases signifies when a user actually clicks through to purchase (generally, checkout). By toggling between Success Events and Purchases you can see the historical events, counts, and conversion rate of the metric and date range selected.

At the bottom of the page the top converting items are listed for the relevant conversion event (success event or purchase event) and date range selected. Additional information can be found by clicking the arrow/box icon at the top right of the Top Converting Items list. By clicking this button you will be emailed an exported list of the top converting items and top converting variations. These file exports include: item ID, item name, URL, and totals for success events and purchases. The top converting variations contain the same information just at the variation level.

Further information about each product can be found by clicking on the Item Name in the Top Converting Items list.
