Template types
In general, the Connect CLI has two main types of templates: mapping and transformation.
Each template type is optional and its implementation depends on which connector you're using. For instance, the mapping template is only required when using the Omni Connector as you need to explicitly define how your data is mapped before transforming it.
As for transformation templates, there are three possible templates to be used:
